13 Underwater Hotels That’ll Make You Feel Like A Mermaid

Take the plunge.

As a child, I had a rather large imagination; every time I went for a swim I’d squeeze my legs together and flip them like a dolphin in a sad attempt to become Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

Obviously with age has come the knowledge that no amount of leg flapping will turn me into a mermaid, but despite this I’ve still been longing for the day when I’m able to spend time under the sea and explore its treasures.

Luckily, thanks to some big investors, luxury hotels across the world have made my dreams come true, offering stunning rooms and restaurants below the ocean’s surface. So if you’re over holidaying at conventional hotels, throw your swimmers on and have your snorkel gear at the ready, because sleeping with the fishes – in the happiest way possible – is no longer a fantasy reserved for Disney fans…
