What could be better than settling in on the couch with a DVD or two this weekend? There's something for everyone, from the gripping Ides of March (hello Ryan Gosling) to Oscar-nominated Money Ball (you'll love it!).
Money Ball
Sure, it has Brad Pitt, but I wasn't really interested in seeing a movie about baseball. Luckily I did, because Money Ball is a fantastic movie with some great characters and a compelling story line about the underdog.
The Ides of March
Feed your Ryan Gosling crush in this brilliant politico flick. It's a gripping modern day tale about cut-throat politics also starring George Clooney, Marissa Tomei and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
Your man has been tugging on your sleeve to get this one out on DVD, and it's actually pretty good. Impressive action scenes.
Melancholia
It's weird and it's not quite wonderful, but you've never seen anything like it. So if you're in the mood for something a little different - remember this is a Lars von Trier flick - Melancholia might be the movie to lose yourself in.
Son of No One
New York police drama with a stellar cast, including Al Pacino, Ray Liotta, Katie Holmes, and Channing Tatum as the rookie cop (for a bit of eye candy).
What's the last movie you watched and loved?
