Kristen Stewart Admits To Cheating On Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart has admitted cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders by issuing a public apology.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” the actress said in a statement to People.

“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry."

The actress, 22, and the director, 41 were photographed kissing on July 17 in LA.

Just a few days beforehand Rob, 26, and Kristen were hanging out at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego.

Sanders is married to actress-model Liberty Ross, who played Stewart's mother in the film. The couple have two children. The director issued a statement today as well:

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” the director said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
