20-Minute Chili

Want authentic chili flavor in mere minutes? Try this quick recipe for a hearty weeknight meal: serve dolloped on potatoes, or try it with lavash crisps.

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients
500g minced beef or minced turkey
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans, washed and drained
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1-2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
1. Brown meat in large frypan over medium-high heat. Drain fat.

2. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, herbs and spiced. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes. If drying out add a little water.

3. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and serve with sour cream.
