Bake This Weekend: Madeleines
Makes: 20 Preparation time: 10 minutes

190g caster sugar
25g brown sugar
Pinch of salt
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 1/2 tablespoons clear honey
75g melted butter
Few drops vanilla extract to taste
Attach the Power Whisk and beat the eggs, sugars and salt until pale.
Combine the flour and baking powder and fold into the egg mixture. Pour in
the honey, butter and vanilla essence, and mix.
Place into a piping bag and pipe into a madeleine mould, then bake in a
preheated oven set at 200°C/4000F/Gas 6 for 10 minutes.
