SheSaid Loving Right Now
I flew home from New York this weekend and wanted to share my three handbag must-haves for that long flight home:
Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment
I hate greasy hand creams, so this hand cream is a firm favourite. It melts right in and conditions nails and cuticles too (you don't want scruffy nails in New York!). I tuck it into the seat pocket so I can regularly apply. Plus it comes in a handy 100ml size so you can pack it in your handbag without issue.
RRP $39.00
MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Unlimited
For a lip balm lover to rave about a lipstick you know it has to be good. MAC's Pro Longwear formula actually does last for hours without feeling dry on the lips (it pleasantly starts to fade after about 6 hours, even after eating). Unlimited is the prettiest pink shade with the slightest hint of mauve, and suits all skin colours (I know because two friends, one pale and one olive, and myself fair, all wear it daily now).
RRP $40.00
Grazing, by John Newton
This memoir by award-winning Aussie food writer John Newton is a moveable feast which I couldn't put down. Part travelogue, part cookbook, Grazing is a love letter to Spain, Newton's other home, and his recollections of Mediterranean journeys from the 1970's to today are both delicious and dreamy. Each recipe comes with a delightful story: his recipe for tortilla has become my go-to for this beloved potato egg dish.
RRP $29.95
