Cameron and Justin celebrate their relationship
The happy coupleCameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have thrown a party to celebrate the year they?ve spent together. Rumours of a wedding were created last week when the pair told friends to gather in Las Vegas last week, particularly as Cameron was seen showing off a diamond engagement ring. But it turns out the pair wanted to celebrate their first year together with 20 of their closest friends. They hired the AUD$16,000 a night penthouse in the Hard Rock Hotel and treated guests to a meal prepared by top restaurant Nobu. Later, the group visted the hotel?s Peacock Lounge where they gambled until early morning. Even Justin?s mum was there, despite rumours of her being dissatisfied with her son?s relationship with Diaz.
Lindsay?s dubious dad
How embarrassing for poor Lindsay Lohen. Her father?s in trouble again ? this time he has been arrested and charged with drink driving and driving without a license. He drove his vehicle into a pole in Long Island on Friday night but managed to get out of the car before it burst into flames. In the last year, Michael Lohan has also allegedly failed to pay hotel bills and has recently sent a demanding letter to his estranged wife demanding the Lohan family participate in a reality tv show. He has spoken to networks about a reality show that features ?behind the scenes with Lindsay on the set, in the recording studio and just being Lindsay!? According to Michael, viewers will also be able to: “join the Lohans… as they go through what could be one of the decade’s most controversial celebrity divorces… Will celebrity and millions of dollars tear them apart? Or will they beat the odds and put their life and family back together?” If Lindsay and her mum Dina refuse to comply, Michael has reportedly threatened law suits and a very messy divorce. Wow, nominations for Father of the Year are in.
Christina?s treasure hunt proposal
Aw romantic! Christina Aguilera said her boyfriend proposed to her through a treasure hunt. She said her new fianc?, music executive Jordan Bratman popped the question after dinner last week. “He sent me on a scavenger hunt. My mom used to do scavenger hunts for me when I was a kid, so it had sentimental value. Each clue was a poem – and in the final clue he proposed!” She told US Weekly magazine, “It was unbelievable. Every cute thing he did, I totally thought was just a Valentine’s Day surprise – he got me!” Aguilera was presented with a 5-carat diamond, designed by the jewellery who made wedding bands for Madonna and Guy Richie. Although Christina and Jordan haven?t set a date yet as she is finishing her album, she gushed, “But it’s definitely given me inspiration to make my best record ever.”
