BBQ Yellow Fin Tuna With Foil-Baked White Asparagus And Herb

Serves 1


180 piece of yellow fin tuna

Olive oil to brush on the tuna to BBQ

5 pieces of white asparagus, peeled

1 tbsp of butter

1 sprig of rosemary

1 sprig of marjoram

1 sprig of parsley

1 sprig of oregano

1 piece of zest of lemon

1 small clove of garlic sliced

A squeeze of lemon juice

Rocket to serve

½ a lemon to serve

Salt & freshly ground black pepper


Double fold a piece of foil to form a bag. In the bag place the asparagus, sprigs of rosemary, marjoram, parsley, oregano, lemon zest and juice, butter, seasoning and sliced garlic, fold to form a tightly closed bag. Place on the stove and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.

Lightly oil the tuna and season with salt and pepper, place on the grill and grill for 2 minutes each side. Remove and allow to rest for 2 minutes. Serve the tuna with the baked asparagus, rocket and ½ a lemon.
