One of my favourite cocktails, the Aperol Spritz always transports me to a late afternoon drink somewhere in Italy. The bittersweet orange flavour mixed with Prosecco makes an ideal aperitif for light finger food.
It’s as easy as 3, 2, 1 – just grab a tumbler glass and follow these simple instructions:
3 parts of Prosecco or any dry sparkling white wine
2 parts of Aperol
1 splash of soda
Add ice and a slice of orange to the glass. Pour in the Prosecco, then the Aperol before adding a dash of soda and stirring gently.
