A beer cocktail? Oh yes, and it’s delicious – and perfect for a weekend of footy finals. Who will you be toasting this long weekend?
The Whistle Blower
300ml of beer (a light lager is best here)
1 nip or 30ml of ginger liqueur like Domaine de Canton
½ nip or 15ml of Bundaberg rum
½ nip or 15ml of lemon juice
1 peeled slice of ginger, cut into matchsticks
Ice cubes to serve
1. Fill a high ball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour in the ginger liqueur, rum, beer and lime juice and stir with a long spoon.
3. Garnish with the fresh ginger and serve.
