A bride in the US is distraught after 1 guest died and 8 others were treated for food poisnoning - how awful!

So we want to know, what was the worst thing that happened at a wedding you've been to?

We were at a wedding and we met up with friends we had not seen in like 10 years
We were seated at the same table at the reception and were talking of old times, chatting and laughing and reminiscing-we were having a ball!...
The MC came over to us to tell us to quieten down and stop having so much fun -at the request of the bridal party...we were all gob-smacked and shocked but had to spend the rest of the night being VERY quiet and reserved...and felt we couldn't enjoy ourselves because it was upsetting the bride and groom...they obviously weren't having as happy a time as we were...
-maybe we were the centre of attention and not them-who knows

My Husband was horrified to find in the toilets at our wedding, a pair of faeces soiled underpants slung on the floor from one of our guests. We didn't even want to think about which one of our guests had left the offending item!!

I was at a wedding not long ago where the bride was wearing a hairpiece that fell off during the ceremony, the veil pulled it back on her head and then to the floor before the maid of honor (or anyone) realized what was happening.

When I arrived at my wedding I saw my husband to be racing out of the church, jumping into his car and taking off. The best man came over to the car and explained that he had left the wedding ring home and had gone to get it. Gave me a bit of a shock at first though.

I was bridesmaid in a wedding party and the bride's mother locked her keys in the car that we were driving to the ceremony in. It took 1 hour to have someone get them and we arrived at the wedding 1.5 hours late! the groom thought she had changed her mind....again! as she had put the wedding off several times
