So Oprah and her audience will be visiting Australia in December - are you excited? Do you think this will boost tourism to Australia? We're huge fans of Oprah and can't wait to welcome her!

and her audience??-not sure what this means
-Oprah's presence here and the show(s)she intends to do will be great publicity and effective advertising, if she can showcase Australia and it's beauty, features, wonders and people...but without all things Oz on her show, she may as well be on the moon..lol
-exposure is the name of the game, in advertising 'us' as to whether it boosts our tourism
-here's hoping Oprah does us proud

Yeah agree with everything that Maxbliss says. Could be a good thing, or could be a waste of government funding, depending on how Oprah represents Australia on her show.

But then again, if her "audiences" are coming as well, I guess this means increased tourism at least for the duration of her show?

I'm not that excited about Oprahs' visit. Of all the places in Australia why is she invited to Perth??? Go to the NT and see Uluru !!

Not excited at all, but if she can generate tourism than that can't be too bad.

It is costing the taxpayers as well a huge amount of money I would have thought a Woman with such a fortune could afford to come out here on her own.
