Hall pass: good idea to save marriage?

In the new Owen Wilson film Hall Pass two wives give their hubbies 'hall passes' or permission to cheat and act like single men for a week in an effort to revitalise their marriages.

What do you think? Could you ever do something like that or is it asking for trouble? Do movies like this glorify cheating or is it just a bit of fun?

no way, never!! there is people out there that have open relationships but it is not for me. i want my man all for myself.

No-one, whether married or in a r/ship, would know the outcome of this action...
BTW what if this was applied to either partner of the couple... not just for the guys
I would never consider granting or accepting this because it's so far removed from why I believe you are in a r/ship to begin with-having trust, honesty, respect, communication, openness and of course love -these ideals are what are important together.
Cheating is deplorable and dishonest and im not into hurting or being hurt
