Footy Finals Healthy Guacamole Recipe


2 ripe avocadoes

½ cup low fat yoghurt

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 roughly diced tomato

2 tbsp of freshly chopped coriander

2 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp line zest

2 chopped chillis (red or green)


Peel the avocadoes and place the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash well with a fork.

Mix in the chilli, garlic, coriander, tomato, lime juice and zest and yoghurt. Whisk together until relatively smooth. Use a Bamix type tool for this or a blender if you can be bothered doing the dishes.

Spoon into a bowl and serve with carrot slices, celery slice, crackers, etc.
