Cate Blanchett’s subtle smokey eye beautifully complemented her Givenchy Couture lavender and neon dress at the Academy Awards. Celebrity makeup artist Robin Fredriksz gave Cate an “icy cool look” with cooler toned shades using Lancome while her skin was prepped as always with SK-II skincare. Celebrity hair stylist Renya Xydis completed the look using ghd products.

Get The Look:

Cate has used SK-II for 10 years and as always used the following products to prep her skin:

– Facial Treatment Essence: After cleansing, apply by sprinkling a teaspoon into hands, rubbing together and pressing gently and evenly onto the face and neck.

– Whitening Spots Specialist: Cate says: “Using Whitening Spots Specialist means I don’t have to rely on whitening masks alone, I can maintain the evenness of my skin’s tone and ensure it stays crystal clear on a daily basis, which gives me a great sense of confidence in my skin’s resilience.”

– Facial Treatment Mask: A deeply intensive, moisture-boosting mask that hydrates the skin with Pitera® to promote more radiant and smoother skin.

-Lancome Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Foundation

-Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace

-Lancome Color Design Eye Shadow in Latte (all over the eyes)

-Lancome Color Design Eye Shadow in Volcano (in the crease)

Sydney celebrity hairstylist Renya Xydis completed the look using ghd products:

Renya says: “Firstly I used ghd Fat Hair Lotion and dried it in. The ghd Gold Classic styler was then used through the mid lengths to ends to smooth out the hair, and I finished the look with ghd Polishing Serum and ghd Ultimate Hairspray for extra hold.”
