It might be winter but we’re already counting down the days to summer after seeing Hayden Panettiere rock this beachy makeup in Vegas. Get the look with makeup artist Amy Oresman.

“When it’s 100 degrees outside you really have to think about what makeup you use,” says Amy. She used a 50/50 mix of Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Primer and Shine Control Foundation, pressing it into Hayden’s skin with her fingers to set the look.

“Instead of setting the face with powder and bronzer I like to contour with a loose powder a few shades darker than the skin.. She applied Neutrogena’s Mineral Sheers Loose Powder Foundation with M.A.C.’s 138 Tapered Fan Brush along the actress’ hairline, nose, jawline, and under her cheekbones. Instead of blush, she dusted Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Custom Glow Bronzer onto the apples of Hayden’s cheeks.

Amy shares a great tip for applying liquid eyeliner. She says people have trouble creating a smooth line because of the brush they come with: “They’re awful!” She uses “M.A.C.’s Pointed Liner Brush which fits into any tube and creates a smooth line.”

She drew a sinthinle, upturned line of Sephora + Pantone Universe’s limited-edition Graphic Lift Eyeliner onto the Hayden’s lashline.

She then applied two coats of Neutrogena’s Healthy Volume Mascara, and while the lashes were still wet, applied individual lashes from M.A.C.’s 30 Lash on the outside half of the Hayden’s top lashes. Oresman’s trick for a natural look with your falsies? “Curl your lashes after you apply them to pinch the lashes and mascara together.”

For the brows Amy used Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Wiz Mechanical Brow Pencil in Medium Ash and set them with the brand’s clear Brow Gel.

Amy used Chanel’s Precision Lip Definer in Peche to line and fill in the lips, then topped with a coat of Neutrogena’s Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Sweet Watermelon. She also dabbed the lippie onto the apples of the cheeks for a final pop of colour.
