How to dump a man gracefully – Part 2 (con’t)
Charm School Rule 4: Don?t rub salt in his wound
Keep the details of your relationship and break-up to yourself, or only share it with your closest friends. When you?re asked about your break-up don?t say, ?I broke up with him.? There?s no need to rub salt into his wound. Just say, ?We had fun dating but it wasn?t going to work out long-term.? No one needs any more detail than that so don?t offer any. If you do start dating someone else soon after breaking up, then don?t flaunt it. If you went to regular haunts with your now ex-boyfriend, show some sensitivity and find some new places to go, at least for a while, to give him a chance to get over it.
Charm School Rule 5: Keep quiet
Try to remember the old adage that if you don?t have something nice to say about someone then don?t say anything at all.
