Jennifer Aniston Selling Her Dream Home For $42 Million
It’s the home she completely rebuilt, says feels “like a hug” and has been written about in architectural magazines but Jennifer Aniston is selling her dream home for a cool $42 million!
Jennifer bought the 1970’s Beverley Hills home in 2006 for $13.5 million, and her team spent more than two years renovating it. She moved in in 2009 and called it “Ohana” – the Hawaiian idea of an extended family. And it certainly gave that illusion: with huge fireplaces, warm furnishings and sweeping views over LA, it was her pride and joy. It “vibrates with the love that created it,” Jen said at the time.
But now the 42 year-old says she wants to simplify her life. She was in London and says in an interview with Architectural Digest: “I couldn’t sleep and I sort of had one of those moments where I went, I really need to simplify. My life needs to be simplified and clear out the clutter. And along with that thought came, ‘I should sell my house.’ … I had the realisation that this is just too much for me. I’m not this person.”
So where to next for the actress? “I don’t know, I’m looking for little spots in New York City to go back home,” she said. “There are all sorts of things that are going to be happening in the near future so I’m excited. I don’t know what they are, but that’s the fun part.”
One thing’s for sure – the woman knows how to make good decisions in real estate!
