In a lavish ceremony on the weekend, the moment that we’ve been leading up to all year finally happened – Kanye West married Kim Kardashian in front of a 20ft-high wall of white roses and peonies as the sun began to set at the 16th century Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. The couple vows were watched by 600 guests – which did not include Kim’s brother Rob after he fled back to LA following a Kardashian-style row with other members of the family.
Kim delicate white lace dress custom-made by Givenchy, who also designed a little white dress for her 11-month-old daughter North. The backless dress was long-sleeved with a flowing train and she also wore a veil over her long hair in loose curls. While Kanye also wore a black Givenchy suit.
Kim’s bridesmaids, her sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie were all dressed in white, although their dresses did not match. They sat front row next to mother-of-the-bride Kris Jenner, also in white, and Bruce Jenner, who like most of the male guests wore a black suit.
Onlookers lined the streets to await the arrival of the couple in one of the most anticipated wedding in reality television history.
