“You messed with the wrong one,” says Pascal Duvier.

Kim Kardashian’s longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, has a message for the five men who held Kardashian at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room earlier this week and robbed her of millions of dollars worth of jewelry.

“We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise you. You messed with the wrong one,” Duvier said via the Daily Mail. “The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard.”

Some fans and commenters have criticized Duvier for leaving Kardashian the night of the attack. After escorting her home from a dinner for Azzedine Alaïa, he accompanied her sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian to L’Arc nightclub. People have even insinuated the robbery was an inside job, and that Duvier could have hand a hand in planning it.

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan questioned Duvier’s active social media presence, implying it’s in poor taste for a person in his line of work. “[He’s] a social media junkie, a bizarre practice for a man in a profession where secrecy and keeping a low profile is paramount.”

Pascal, a former German soldier, has been with the Kardashian family since 2013 and is often pictured with them. He has a loyal social media following and frequently posts on Twitter and Instagram. Since the attack, Duvier has made his Instagram private.

As for whether or not Duvier will continue as part of Kardashian’s security team, a source told Us Weekly that “Pascal is staying.” According to the source, “Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn’t believe this is his fault in any way.”

This wasn’t the first alarming incident to occur during Kardashian’s visit to Paris Fashion Week; she was nearly assaulted by a crazed fan just days before. That time, Duvier was on hand to tackle the offender.
