Here’s what looking like Queen Kylie really involves…

I’ve often wondered how much better I could look with a glam squad like Kylie Jenner’s.

It’s no secret the KUWTK star gets more than a little help in the personal grooming department, with a makeup artist at her beckon call and a team of professionals at the ready to spray tan, defuzz and glamify every square inch of her being into a terrifyingly flawless version of her former self. And whether or not most of us like to admit it, we’re all slightly obsessed with what exactly it is that goes into that marathon-like routine.

Answering our calls, Jenner has released a tell-all clip on her new website detailing each and every product and trick that goes into her look. And as she proves by applying the products all herself using a few of the tips she’s picked up from her glam team, if you’ve got roughly $600 and half an hour or so to spare, you too could look like Kylie. (Warranty not included.)

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

Kylie starts her makeup routine by feathering in her brows with this cult brow pencil.

Copy it: To emulate her style, apply product very lightly at the start of the brow, pressing harder for a deeper shade as you get closer to the tail.

2. Tarte Cosmetics Airbuki Bamboo Powder Foundation Brush

Kylie prefers this kabuki brush when it comes to applying her foundation as it allows for ultimate blendibility with its soft, feathered head.

Copy it: To use it, simply dip in foundation then apply in a sweeping circular motion over the face, ensuring you blend around the jaw to avoid a harsh line.

3. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation

Kylie uses a combination of two of her fave foundations, including this one, to create a custom hue for her skin tone.

Copy it: To steal this hack, simply apply two pumps of each foundation to a small lid or plate and mix together using a makeup brush before applying. You can test it for matchability as you go by trying it on your jawline – once it blends seamlessly with the shade of your skin, you’ve got the perfect hue.

4. Buxom Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation

Another of Kylie’s fave foundations, this product is popular for its lightweight formula which can be built up for heavier coverage as desired.

Copy it: Grab this foundation at your local Sephora.

5. Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette

As the most popular eye makeup brand in the world with a cult-like following that includes KJ, it’s really no surprise this Jenner fave is sold out.

Copy it: Though the original is no longer available, Urban Decay have now released the Vice 4 Palette, and you can grab it at your local Sephora now.

6. Stila Aqua Glow Perfecting Bronzer

Kylie begins her epic contouring routine by swiping this bronzer along her cheekbones to add definition and dewiness.

Copy it: Dab the product in a diagonal line tracing up your cheekbones then blend into skin by lightly diffusing with your fingertips.

7. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

Next, she dots this makeup artist fave product under her eyes to conceal under-eye circles and add instant radiance and lift.

Copy it: To cinch this step, apply your concealer in the shape of a triangle, not a line, under the eye, which will deflect light to create a facelift-like look.

8. Beautyblender

Then the selfie queen uses a Beautyblender to blend the concealer in a dabbing motion, being sure not to miss the inner corners of the eyes where build-up can get stuck.

Copy it: If you’re using a Beautyblender, it’s best to soak the sponge in water first then squeeze out excess moisture tightly. The residual dampness will make product blending a dream.

9. La Mer The Powder

To set everything in place, Kylie uses this cult transluscent powder by La Mer, swept lightly across her face.

Copy it: To apply transluscent powder flawlessly every time, use a large, fluffy brush and ensure you tap away any excess before applying to your face.

10. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette

Kylie touts this Too Faced eyeshadow combo as her fave palette, using it to define her eyes, first using a mix of the first and third hues on her lid, then swiping the white shade along her brow bone to create lift and finishing by smudging the dark shadow in with a fine brush along her top lashline in place of an eyeliner.

Copy it: If you suck at eyeshadow, try sticking a piece of Scotch tape in a diagonal line from the outer corner of your eye across to the end tail of your brow to create a stencil. Apply shadow as roughly as you like then peel away the tape to reveal a crisp line.

11. MAC 217 Brush

Kylie uses this popular MAC 217 makeup brush to apply her eyeshadow in a soft, sweeping motion.

Copy it: To get rid of any harsh lines, sweep your eyeshadow brush in circular motions across any build-up, which will diffuse the edges.

12. Sephora Collection Pro Brow Brush

Kylie uses this angled brush to apply the dark Too Faced shadow along her top lashline in place of a liner.

Copy it: To instantly turn any shadow into a liner, simply dip a small angled brush in water then into the shadow. The water will intensify the pigment for a dramatic look.

13. Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic in Ecstasy

Next, Kylie uses the centre shade of this blush dabbed on the apples of her cheeks.

Copy it: To find the apples of your cheeks for perfect blush application, simply smile. The raised areas that pop up just under your eyes are where you should apply the product.

14. MAC 129 Powder/Blush Brush

Kylie likes to use MAC’s Powder/Blush Brush to apply her blush in a light sweeping motion.

Copy it: If you can’t afford to spring for an exxy blush brush, you can double a regular large fluffy brush as a blush brush by squeezing the head of the brush together to form a line shape with your hand then applying the product while holding the brush in place for a clean angle.

15. Sephora Collection Eyelash Curler in Amethyst

Kylie says she chose this electric purple eyelash curler because, “I thought it looked cool.”

Copy it: Try this mascara trick Kylie’s makeup artist Joyce Bonelli uses to create the illusion of fuller, thicker lashes after applying your eyelash curler.

16. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight

Kylie uses the bronzer part of this palette to contour her nose, using a trick her makeup artist taught her, explaining, “The closer together you make [the lines], the thinner your nose will look.”

Copy it: Trace a line down either side of the bridge of your nose with your bronzer to create the illusion of a shadow and make your nose appear slimmer, blending the edges for a natural finish.

17. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic

No Kylie Jenner makeup routine would be complete without some serious lip service. After applying a gloss named Dolce from her forthcoming Lip Kit line, Kylie adds a touch of sheen by dabbing on some of this balm.

Copy it: To create the illusion of fuller lips, try these clever product hacks.

18. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

And finally, to set her look in face, Kylie applies a quick spritz of Urban Decay’s cult makeup setting spray.

Copy it: If you can’t afford to splash the cash on a makeup setting spray, hairspray works just as well. Simply close your eyes and hold the can at arm’s length after you’ve finished your makeup, applying two quick bursts to set your look in place for a night of Kylie Jenner inspired selfie taking.
