She will undergo immediate treatment and consequently her Australian tour will not be able to proceed as planned.” Her showgirl tour was scheduled for this month in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane however concert goers have been told to hold onto their tickets and stay tuned for further concert announcements. J.Lo hints that she’s pregnant
Jennifer Lopez has dropped strong hints that she too is expecting a little bundle of joy. She mentioned last week she was experiencing food cravings, “For the first time ever, I woke up in the middle of the night starving. I really wanted to get up and eat. I thought, ‘Oh dear, I can’t start that habit.’ At 10am I got up and had four eggs.” Jen has also recently cropped her hair. Of her new shorter hairdo, she admits, “Cutting my hair might be an outward statement of something going on inside. I’ve always had long hair, so it was a big deal for me to cut it.” Jeez alright already! In case we didn?t get the hint, she added, “I do want a family and it’s going to happen. It’s the biggest blessing you can have. I believe that.” Wonder if we should start knitting the booties yet?
Jen Lopez stars in successful film
Yes you did read that heading right. J.Lo?s latest film, Monster-in-Law has taken the top spot in US box offices, earning more than US$24 millions its first weekend. The film also stars Jane Fonda and Alias actor Michael Vartan and is primarily about the disastrous relationship between Jen?s character and her mother in law (played by Jane). It must be all very awkward for Michael Vartan ? not only is his former lover Jennifer Garner rumoured to be pregnant to Ben Affleck, but he?s also starring opposite Ben?s ex J.Lo. But apparently, he?s quite in awe of the two women and says they have quite a bit in common. “They’re amazing. The people who succeed in this business and have staying power are the ones that really understand the two facets of it, the work and the celebrity, and they’re professional. You know you’re going to be chased by paparazzi if you’re one of the Jennifers. That’s just the way it goes.” So Ben does has good taste?!
Katie to replace Sienna
Katie Holmes is looking certain to replace Sienna Miller as the lead in Factor Girl. Sienna was originally cast as Edie Sedgwick, the 60s ?It? girl who is rumoured to have had affairs with Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison and Mick Jagger amongst others and died of a barbiturate overdose in 1971. Rumours were abounding over the weekend that Sienna had been dropped as her name wasn?t big enough, however co-producer of the film, Aaron Richard Golub, denies this, saying ?It was a scheduling conflict. We love Sienna.” This is due to her role as Celia in the West End production of As You Like It. Apparently Katie is perfect for the role; director George Hickenlooper says, “Katie is not too different from Edie, who arrived in New York as young, innocent, looking for excitement.” The film will also include Aussie Guy Pearce, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.
