Jennifer Garner’s secret disappointment
Jennifer Garner was reportedly furious when pregnancy rumours were leaked to the press. She told US InStyle magazine: “The news got out when I was in the middle of my first trimester. I hadn’t even had a chance to tell my friends. That alone was so ugly.” Furthermore, the Alias star felt uncomfortable with people speculating so much over her relationship or her pregnancy, saying: ?It’s too sweet to read or dissect or talk about.” The 33-year-old is obviously smitten with her husband of less than two months, Ben Affleck. This is the second marriage for the actress, and she says she?s a lot more realistic this time around. “I don’t have this fantasy about marriage anymore . . . I’m much more pragmatic than I used to be.” Her first husband was Felicity star Scott Foley, but their relationship broke up in 2003. She and 32-year-old Affleck met in 2003 but began their relationship last year. Their first child is due in December.
Matt’s god fatherly wish
Meanwhile, Ben?s best mate Matt Damon is bribing the couple into giving him the responsibility as the baby?s god father. He is reportedly bringing over gifts already and has promised to keep up the generosity when the bub is born in December. He said, “He’d be smart to give me that job, I’d spoil that kid rotten.” Despite his excitement over potentially being a god father, the Bourne Identity star isn?t planning his own brood with girlfriend Luciana Barrosa quite yet. “I’m excited for all my friends that are having kids and I’m excited to be doing it myself one of these days. But we’ll see. It’s in God’s hands.”
