Zeta Bar Mulled Wine

Makes 1 litre


120ml Hennessy VS Cognac

1 bottle of cabernet sauvignon

3-4 cinnamon sticks

3 peeled oranges

Peel of 3 oranges

10 cloves

1 teaspoon ginger

1 cup organic honey


1. Place the wine, honey, cognac, orange, cinnamon, cloves and ginger in a large saucepan over low heat.

2. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes or until the mixture is aromatic. Remove from heat.

3. Strain the mulled wine into a large jug. Pour among serving glasses. Decorate with orange peel and serve immediately.
