Who knew what we did before Nespressos? Their automatic capsule coffee machines where undoubtedly a game changer. Pretty much if they hadn’t reinvented the coffee machine we’d all still be drinking bitter instant or making a ridiculous mess with all that grinding and milk frothing or coughing up our life savings at exxy cafes.
This season the coffee giant has struck gold again with three new flavors released just in time for the Christmas: vanilla cardamom, vanilla amaretti and ciocco ginger. Inspired by the spices regularly used in the kitchen at this time of year the three new flavors are sure to keep the coffee drinkers of the world pretty pleased with themselves.
So to positively whet your caffeine-loving tastebuds, here are four delish ways to enjoy Nespresso’s spiced coffee creations this festive season…
1. Italian Affogato
Add some punch to your traditional affogato by replacing normal coffee with some Nespresso vanilla amaretti. Don’t forget to add some Frangelico if you really want to give this classic a boost. (Recipe here)
