Nigella Lawson was apparently attacked by her husband Charles Saatchi while out to lunch at a well-known restaurant in London last weekend, leaving the domestic goddess in tears.
Photos taken by Britain’s Mirror newspaper show Saatchi, 70, grabbing the TV chef by the throat at Scott’s Restaurant in Mayfair, a popular haunt for celebrities in central London.

Witnesses say Lawson, 53, looked terrified after the violent argument and was dabbing her eyes with her napkin, speaking in a shaky voice. She then leaned over and kissed his cheek, before the millionaire advertising executive got up and left the restaurant alone.
Lawson then downed her glass of wine and left the restaurant in tears, jumping into an awaiting taxi.
She has previously spoken about their relationships, admitting to fiery arguments and describing her husband as “an exploder.
“I’ll go quiet when he explodes,” she said in 2007, “and then I am a nest of horrible festeringness.”
The couple are due to celebrate their 10th anniversary in September.
