Fast and Furious star Paul Walker has been killed in a car crash in L.A.

The 40-year-old died on Saturday after the Porsche Carrera GT he was riding in crashed into a pole and burst into flames in Santa Clarita at 3.30pm local time. He was the passenger in the car being driven by his friend and financial advisor Roger Rodas.

Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel led the tributes as he revealed his shock his friend had passed away.

“Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace,” his message on Instagram read alongside a photo of the friends.

Fellow co-star Dwayne Johnson also paid tribute, writing: “All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength.. in his light. Love you brother.”

Rapper and actor Ludacris, real name Chistopher Bridges, posted a touching photo on his Facebook page showing the film’s cast holding hands around a table, with the caption: “Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark.


“We were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.”

Walker leaves behind daughter Meadow, 15, from his previous relationship with Rebecca McBrain.
