Sandra Bullock Sings For Charity
Sandra Bullock has performed a surprise serenade at a fundraising show.
The Oscar winning-actress – who has only recently begun a return to public life following revelations of her husband Jesse James’ affair with tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee – joked with crowds at the Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood event in Nashville, Tennessee after learning the show had raised over $2 million.
Walking onto the stage holding an acoustic guitar, Sandra told the crowd: “When they told me how much you all contributed, I realised I had to do more than be funny.
“I’m going to bring the house down. And I’m going to do it Nashville style!”
She then asked the audience for “some quiet” before playing the first notes to Deep Purple classic ‘Smoke on the Water’.
Sandra, 45, then joked: “I can’t play for crap!”
The ‘Blind Side’ actress was joined by a number of big stars at the benefit, including Taylor Swift, LeAnn Rimes, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and ZZ Top.
The money raised by the event was donated to victims of recent flooding in Tennessee.
