SheSaid Loving Right Now
This week I challenged myself to downsize my makeup routine by only using 3 products. These are my 3 new hero makeup products – and they’re all under $25!.
Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
You just know that any claim for a long lasting foundation is going to make your skin feel like it’s wrapped in clingfilm. Well somehow Rimmel have come up with a foundation that stays on from an early morning start to farewell drinks that last into the wee hours – yet feels light-as-air on. The colour blended into my skin better than many expensive foundations I’ve tried, with just the right medium coverage. At this price it’s my new favourite pharmacy buy!

Max Factor Smoky Effect Eyeshadow
Now this is a clever product. It’s a chunky, double-ended pencil, with a different shade on each end. One is an all over eye shadow, the other a liner, so you can create a smoky eye with just the one product. But it’s so much more than that. Use the darker shade in the crease for a more dramatic eye, use the lighter shade as a highlighter on the brow bone, even on the cheeks. Very light and creamy. My tip? Use a little concealer or foundation on the eyelid first to set your eye makeup all day.

Inika Lip Whips
I’ll be featuring Inika more in the next few weeks as this Australian brand is one of the few organic makeup companies out there – and if you have sensitive skin this might be something to look out for. Their brand new Lip Whips are buttery smooth lip glosses that feel more like a balm, and come in 4 fruity hues that enhance your natural lip colour – great if you don’t like an overly made up look. They’re lovely and small so you can always keep one in your makeup purse. I even dotted a tiny amount on my cheeks for a radiant glow.
