This week I’ve been testing a new wrinkle zapper, a revolutionary new hair volumizer and a soothing body gel that will give your skin a lot of love if you’re a fan of laser like I am!
Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex, $49.95.
We recently asked you what your favourite beauty product of all time is, and an overwhelming number of you shouted Olay! We love that it’s one of those products your mothers used, and now you use it too. The latest in the Olay family is this wrinkle zapper, which claims to reduce the appearance of lines instantly. After a particularly uncomfortable night’s sleep (you know the one, where you wake up with the pillow etched into your face), I patted on the cream and was impressed by how my lines seemed to relax right before me. I’ve been trying it twice a day for two weeks and so far I’m impressed with how fresher I look.
Prive Concept Vert Volumising Froth, $39.95.
Prive make a lovely range of herbal-based hair products and this is their latest, a Volumizing Froth (love the name!), which takes the title as the world’s first non-aerasol mousse. Now, don’t be put off by mousse – it’s more of a foaming cream that you squirt onto the palms and rub together quickly, creating a froth. It allows you to style hair in so many ways: by creating volume and bounce, reducing frizz, defining curls or just to leave hair soft and shiny. If you’re impressed with exotic ingredients, you’ll love that this is enriched with açai and babassu oil which is great for strengthening hair.
neoSkin Soothing Aloe Vera Gel , $25.00
I love laser hair removal, and always look forward to that squirt of aloe vera gel after my session to cool and soothe those just-treated areas. I also love aloe vera in summer to relieve mosquito bites and sunburn (and no matter how sunsafe I try to be, I always get sunburnt). Victoria skin clinic neoSkin have created their own aloe vera gel, which contains chamomile extract and is fragrance free. Not a fan of laser? The gel is great after shaving or waxing too.
What are you loving this week?
