If you love to enjoy the occasional Sunday afternoon cocktail, then you probably know that some of the best include Aperol.
The sweet liqueur combines herbs, roots, an orange peel and rhubarb texture, which is undeniably the taste of summer. If you’re planning to pick up a bottle this weekend, try these Aperol cocktails which won’t disappoint.
Ingredients: prosecco, club soda, Aperol, orange peel
We couldn’t start off this cocktail list with none other than the classic aperol spritz. The standard Italian drink is so easy to prepare and is a match made in heaven with a cheeseboard and olives.
Italian greyhound with rosemary
Ingredients: rosemary, sugar, gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice
For a rosemary infused cocktail, try the classic Italian greyhound, which tastes amazing on a hot and humid day. Don’t forget to rim the glass with rosemary and sugar for extra flavour.
Bourbon and Aperol peach tea
Ingredients: Bourbon, peach preserves, lemon juice, Aperol, sweet tea, thyme
If you’re a fan of bourbon, then you’re certainly in the right place. This refreshing cocktail works in the warmer weather and will impress any guest!
Ingredients: lime juice, lemon juice, Aperol, gin, clib soda
The perfect cocktail, symbolising that both sweet and sour tastes can co-exist, is of course the collinzano. Make sure to keep your lemon and limes at a room temperature to ensure that they are easier to squeeze.
Aperol spritz float
Ingredients: water, Aperol, sugar, orange zest, prosecco
So nice we had to mention it twice? This has a slight twist since there is Aperol sorbet involved… Yes, we just went there.
