5 Easy Gift-Wrapping Ideas To Make Your Presents Shine

April 12, 2013

Gift-wrapping sets the tone for a present and shows that we care enough to make the extra effort. Doing something a bit different and quirky however can be hard when it comes to finding the inspiration and the time.

Lucky for us, DYMO has five fabulous and easy ideas to create a gorgeous looking gift without a lot of effort!

1. Raid the kitchen drawers
If you have a small gift to wrap, use a brown paper bag from the kitchen cupboard, neatly fold it and tie with some twine. By adding a DYMO label, you can personalise the gift with a name and a message.

2. Check the garden
If you are using classic brown, or white paper packaging, you can jazz things up by adding a pretty feather or a flower from the garden. Hold it down using DYMO label and add your name at the same time. One tape, two uses!

3. Visit thenewsagent
A cheaper alternative to store-bought gift tags is to use a plain paper tag from any newsagent and add a DYMO label. For only a couple of dollars for a pack of 50, you can label them with your receiver’s name and a short message.

4. Go metallic
Adding sparkle and shine is great way to make any gift that little bit more special. Using Metallic Tape from DYMO you can add a shiny label to the front of a plain wrapped present. Include a celebratory message and it becomes a feature in itself.

5. Card making
If you’re already a fan of making cards, use your DYMO Labeller to create a message for the front and inside. It’s easy and is more personal than one purchased from a store.
