Dermalogica Skin Resurfacing Cleanser
This is one clever cleanser, because even though it feels light and milky and you wonder if it will even do anything, it’s actually quite the workhorse. It cleanses, exfoliates and makes skin look and feel younger. After the first day my skin was visibly brighter, and after a week it was so soft I had to keep touching it to believe it. Fine lines softened up and I even had a friend ask if I’d come back from a holiday, my skin looked so relaxed and glowing. Comes in a pump pack so it’s nice and hygenic.

7 Minute Wrinkle Eraser
Turn on daytime TV and there seems to be a flood of undereye miracle treatments, all promising an instant eyelift. We tried 7 Minute Wrinkle Eraser and were blown away by the results. It smoothed away lines, lifted any droopiness and shadows faded away. The result lasted for 4-5 hours. It really did feel like magic. It comes in a click-pen so you could pop it in your handbag for touch ups when you’re not feeling your best. I would use it for special occassions, although the results are said to be cumulative so we’ll keep using it and report back!

The Lift Complete Mini Lifting System
The problem with having a facial in a beauty salon is that you really need to do a regular course of treatments to see long-lasting effects, but who has the time or money? So I thought the The Lift Complete Mini Lifting System with 10 treatments was a great idea (especially since it’s used in salons but safe for home). You mix the powder with liquid booster and smooth it over the face with the included brush, following the directions. Leave for 8-30 minutes (depending if you want a quick boost or a deeper treatments). I was surprised how many people complimented my skin after I’d done a treatment!

Nutrimetics Complexion Refiner
Many of us grew up with Nutrimetics so it’s wonderful to see the brand still creating innovative skincare, such as this miracle exfoliator. It transforms from a powder to a paste with water and brightens as well as polishing skin to a squeeky clean. The secret ingredient Lotusine protects against free radicals, and I got a kick out of stepping out of the show to peer at my skin and gawk at how clean it is. Blackheads have disappeared and pores are much tighter.

Biosthetique Menulphia Creme Riche
You don’t tend to think of anti-ageing products as having natural ingredients – but this luscious cream for very dry skin contains macadamia nut and jojoba oils. Creams for dry skin can often end up being too oily, but this melted right in, and softened dry areas like the neck and chin instantaneously. After a week and counting, I can still feel it working.
