Anti-Ageing Skincare Reviews
Better than Botox? That’s what they say…so we road test the latest anti-ageing products out there and share our favourites that really do work.
Bod Certified Anti-Ageing Eye Serum
When I heard this eye serum contained Kakadu plum, I couldn’t wait to try it. Not only is Bod certified organic, but I love a company that sources native Australian ingredients, especially one that contains huge amounts of age fighting vitamin C. This lovely eye serum also contains a stack of essential oils that immediately revitalised my tired under-eye area and after 2 weeks I’ve noticed my crow’s feet are much softer.
RRP: $44.95. For more information visit www.bod.com.au.
Lapureté have had a massive response to their claims of reducing the appearance of expression lines by 27% after 4 weeks, so I was keen to test it out myself. To maximise results I put myself on the 3-step system (although products can be used individually). The range contains Okuru, a wonder plant from West Africa that gives similar anti-ageing results to Botox. Step 1 is to cleanse and I fell in love with the mild cream cleanser. Step 2 is the revitalising eye cream that de-puffed my eye bags and melted into the skin. Finally Step 3 is to moisturise, and the day cream provides a powerful barrier against UVA damage while the night cream got rid of patchy dry skin, and in the morning I wake to find plumped out crow’s feet and frown lines, plus a healthy glow that lasts throughout the day.

Grown Contour Sculpting Anti-Ageing Moisturiser
First of all, I love the packaging of Grown, it feels organic but expensive (a more stylish version of Kiehl’s). So does a moisturiser that bills itself as contour sculpting live up to its claims? The ingredients are amazing – white tea gives a boost of antioxidants to the skin and fight off free radicals while phyto-peptides work to restore cell structure and boost elastin production – basically everything you need to fight ageing in one pocket-sized tube.
Che Gentle Cleanser
We all love a drink but finally here’s a skincare range that harnesses the benefits of wine for younger-looking skin. Derived from pure grape skin extracts this soothing cleanser leaves my skin brighter and hydrated. I find I need less moisturiser as all the good work starts from basic cleansing. I’m also loving following up with the Che Moist Plus moisturiser that’s firmed my neck and face while leaving my skin feeling really comfortable – – I’ll drink to that!
RRP: Cleanser $44; Moist Plus $88
