Aussie Lamb Burger Recipe

Celebrate our national day with a classic Aussie burger cooked on the BBQ, packed to the brim with juicy lamb and served on a damper roll (what else!).

Serves: 4


500g lean lamb mince

1 egg

1 clove garlic, crushed

¼ bunch mint

1 small red onion, diced

½ cup bread crumbs

1 tub Red Rock Deli Balsamic Beetroot, Feta and Cashew Dip

4 damper rolls

2 cups salad to serve


1. Place lamb mince into a bowl add egg, garlic, mint, onion and crumbs, mix well.

2. Divide mixture into four equal amounts and form into patties.

3. Grill gently on a BBQ or pan fry until cooked.

4. Split rolls in half, top bottoms of rolls with salad and then patties. Spoon just over a tablespoon of the Red Rock Deli Balsamic Beetroot, Feta and Cashew Dip onto each of the patties and top with the other half of the bun.

Tip: For an extra flavour hit, crumble some feta on top of each patty while they’re being grilled.
