Baywatch tops the stink list

Whaddya mean this wasn’t good?!
Baywatch has once ranked the world?s most popular program with viewers in 140 countries; however their latest award is less than complimentary. The sun-bleached soap was voted the worst ever US television export in a British survey released last week. Although the show ran for 12 years, Broadcast Magazine damned Baywatch for suffering viewers through scripts “of mind-numbing predictability: beachgoer is saved from drowning.” Top ten winners (or is that losers?) are:
1. Baywatch
2. The Anna Nicole Show
3. The Dukes of Hazzard
4. Wild Palms
5. Manimal
6. The Jerry Springer Show
7. Knots Landing
8. Falcon Crest
9. The Bold and the Beautiful
10. Extreme Makeover

“Frankly my dear…”
More UK popularity awards
The UK have been big on polls in the last week ? they have also calculated that Gone With The Wind has been by more cinema-goers than any other film in UK movie history. Experts at the British Film Institute (BFI) examined cinema ticket sales since the beginning of talkies to create the all-time list. They calculate the Clark Gable/Vivien Leigh classic has been seen by 35 million people since its release in 1940. Other popular films include The Sound Of Music which has been seen by 30 million people in the cinema since its first screening in 1965. Third place goes to Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs with 28 million admissions, Star Wars fourth with 20.7 million and British comedy Spring In Park Lane came fifth with 20.5 million. Other classics which made the top ten included The Best Years Of Our Lives, which came sixth, The Jungle Book (seventh) and Titanic (eighth). The Wicked Lady came ninth and The Seventh Veil came tenth in the list. Steven Spielberg movies Jurassic Park and Jaws also feature in the top 20 along with Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring.

Beyonce childless for some time
Beyonce Knowles is terrified of having a baby after witnessing the birth of her sister Solange?s baby. She explains, ?We were there while she had the baby and I’ve never seen in person the birth of a child – it’s a serious thing… It’s not something you want to rush into after you see it!”… Nicole Kidman spent last weekend?s Thanksgiving weekend with new boyfriend, billionaire movie producer Steve Bing. Steve (also the father of Elizabeth Hurley’s son Damien) and Nicole were spotted together at Trader Vic’s in Los Angeles with a group of friends “laughing, giggling and snuggling,” according to the New York Post.
