1. Support skin synthesis and strengthening with key minerals
Zinc is an essential mineral that assists in developing cell membranes and repairing damaged tissues. It’s also shown to help resolve acne by controlling the production of the skin’s oil. Six per cent of the body’s zinc is in the skin, so eating zinc-rich foods can help maintain and enhance healthy skin.

The waterless skincare routine is widely popular in Korea since it cuts out the ingredient of water in most creams and toners. Water isn’t exactly a bad thing, but it does make most formulas feel runny and muddy – not a good characteristic, especially if you’re spending money on high-end skincare.
Waterless skincare products are more concentrated and contain pure botanical extracts at their foundation. They also might be on the costly side, especially if you’re looking towards evening creams, peptides and toners.

While essence isn’t as popular in the UK or USA as it is in Korea, this trend is quickly catching on and is effective on all skin types. According to an independent survey conducted by Australian anti-ageing skincare brand, Wrinkles Schminkles, 70 per cent of women over 35 had signs of ageing on their chests and 84 per cent failed to apply sunscreen to their chests before heading out into the sun.

Do you suffer from bumpy, dry and blackhead-prone skin – especially around the trick parameters of your nose? Some of us might have accepted that this is just a way of life and perhaps use those annoying little strips to pull out blackheads every once in a while; this is where facial extractions enter the skincare game.
