Brad & Ange update

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? There are rumours abounding about her being pregnant with twins, about her expecting a boy, or a girl (well duh) and about whether the pair is intending to walk down the aisle. According to the US National Enquirer, the pair are expecting a son. They are reportedly planning to call their child William (after Brad?s full name: William Bradley Pitt) which is a family tradition in the Pitt household. US Weekly agree that the baby will be a boy, who is set to arrive 2nd May. Contrastingly though, Life & Style are sure the child will be a girl, saying that Brad?s sister has been shopping for pink clothes. Maybe these twin rumours have some truth to them? As for the wedding, apparently Brad has ordered a special ring from the man who designed Princess Diana?s engagement ring from Dodi Fayed. The jeweller, Alberto Repossi, told America?s In Touch magazine, “We’ve received an assignment on behalf of Mr Pitt for a very special jewel.” Apparently Brad told director Fernando Meirelles at a meeting that their nuptials will happen ?very soon? however Angelina has been heard telling director Robert Rodriguez, ?We will never marry.? Anyone else confused?

Kate Moss returns to London to face the music
Kate Moss will return to London this week for the first time since images of her snorting cocaine were published in a tabloid newspaper. She has avoided the UK fearing she would be arrested, however she has struck a deal which will see her fly into London and be interviewed by police under caution. Meanwhile, Kate?s ex Pete Doherty has managed to be arrested for three drug related offences this year alone, and judges have finally refused him bail. The babyshambles singer pleaded guilty to seven drug offences, including possessing heroin, and will be sentenced on February 8. He applied for bail; however judge Stephen Dawson denied it, saying: “I’m sorry if my order will affect your fans and people who go to your concerts? But there are substantial grounds to believe you will commit further offences.” There was even a private jet on standby waiting to whisk the bad boy to a gig in Scotland. The sentence obviously didn?t please Pete, who rolled his eyes when it was being read out, then waited for the judge to turn his back before sticking up his middle finger. Charming.

Lucky celebrity escapes
There are a few lucky celebs in Tinseltown this week after suffering near misses in various transport accidents. Joaquin Phoenix was involved in a serious car accident in Hollywood Hills late last week. According to his publicist: ”His brakes went out and the car flipped over. But he’s doing fine. He may be very sore in the morning, but right now he is doing okay.” Apparently the 31-year-old was driving the car at the time and he wasn?t hospitalised. Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi is fending off rumours that he died over the weekend(?!) There were reports that he and his band were killed in a plane crash over the weekend, however Jon told reporters: “Rumours of our deaths have been greatly exaggerated. It’ll take more than a plane crash to stop me.” Apparently the truth was that the plane overshot the runway before skidding to a halt. There were no injuries.
