Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
If you?re a fan of the Harry Potter books and films, then you?re going to love this third installment. If you?ve been reading the books no doubt you?re up to the fifth one already so may have forgotten the specifics of previous stories. The film begins back at the Dursleys, where Harry is forced to use his magic after a vile aunt provokes him. To escape his increasingly annoying family, Harry catches the Knight Bus to the Leaky Cauldron and awaits the beginning of his third year at Hogwarts. When he arrives, he realises Sirius Black, one of the parties involved in Harry?s parents murder, has escaped from prison. To make matter worse, the spirit guards of Azkaban, the Dementors, are on the lookout for Sirius and suck your soul if you stand in your way. Poor Harry isn?t having a good start to the year! This film is certainly deeper than the other two. Harry has to cope with more but on the bright side is maturing rapidly and dealing with challenges better. Total DVD has the two disk DVD with extras such as ?Magic You May Have Missed? and an interactive game.

Outfoxed – Rupert Murdoch’s War On Journalism
This is similar in concept to Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine. Outfoxed is all about the Rupert Murdoch?s Fox News Corporation, and how far they go to influence unsuspecting Americans, particularly during the last two elections. It explores how Rupert Murdoch?s ownership of some of the biggest media corporations in the world spreads the power of one man far beyond what is fair and just. There are testimonials from some of Fox?s former employees, from producers to on air presenters. You won?t be able to believe some of the ?news? that is documented on Fox News, things that are blatant propaganda and nothing like the ?Fair and Balanced? mantra that Fox advertises. Although it?s mainly focused on the American channel, Murdoch does own a plethora of media in Australia, and one can only assume the same practices exist here as well, although perhaps to a lesser degree. Although this documentary is startlingly honest and realistic, one fears it?s only the tip of the iceberg to what really goes on in with these power hungry moguls.

King Arthur
Starring Keira Knightly and the massive spunk Clive Owen, this is the portrayal of Arthur, the ancestral chief of the Britons as his mother was a native Briton and his father Roman. He is the leader of a dedicated group of knights, all captured as children to serve the Romans. He and his knights have been traveling the south of England, defending the island against the rebels from the north. Their last mission before discharge is to rescue a lone Roman family from the north. We follow the knights as they bravely rescue the family (and surrounding villagers) and return them to the Roman Bishop. If you like a good historical DVD, you?ll love this film. There?s plenty of sword fighting and clever battles where the victors are always the goodies!
