The Clear Skin Smoothie
Want to drink your way to clear skin? While certain foods are great for clearing acne-prone skin, or simply just giving it a much needed glow, you can also create a delicious fruit smoothie that will clear troublesome skin in no time!
This smoothie is packed with antioxidants as well as vitamins and minerals which are essential in creating a visibly brighter appearance.
1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 orange (peeled)
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup fat-free plain yoghurt
1/2 cup silken tofu
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp agave nectar
- Combine the strawberries, blueberries, orange, banana, yoghurt, silken tofu, and nectar into a large blender with a few ice cubes.
- Blend well on a medium-high setting, and serve with sprinkled chia seeds.
