Cocktail for the Weekend: Hot Buttered Hazelnut

The weekend can’t come soon enough if this is the cocktail we have to look forward to! One of our favourite winter cocktails, made with Frangelico. Wait till the aroma fills your house!

45ml Frangelico

1 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp cocoa
1 cinnamon quill

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 small knob of butter

250ml milk

Method

1. Being careful not to boil it, warm the milk with the sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla and butter for 3–5 minutes to allow the spices to infuse. Stir in the Frangelico and garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
