Universal Studios is a theme park in Florida which is also a working film and TV production facility. There are a huge number of exhilarating rides in honour of popular movies such as Men In Black, Transformers, The Terminator, E.T and you can take a behind the scenes look at the movie making process. If you’re lucky enough you might even spot a film in progress on the backlot. It is also home to the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter where you can take a ride on the Hogwarts Express, wander through the novelty shops in Diagon Alley or take a ride on the multi-dimensional thrill ride in Gringotts Bank.
Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi
As the name suggests this theme park is all about racing and speed. Sitting underneath a 200,000m2 roof is the largest indoor theme park in the world. It is home to Formula Rossa, the fastest rollercoaster on earth which is designed to resemble the Formula One car and reaches speeds of 240km/h in under five seconds. Race in a simulator, similar to those used by drivers in training or race your friends in the GT twin roller-coasters which race side by side and reach speeds of 95km/h. There are also a heap of interactive shows and exhibitions as well as plenty of rides for the children.
Magic Kingdom Park, Florida
Walt Disney World in Florida is made up of four theme parks, two waterparks and covers the same area as the city of San Francisco. Magic Kingdom is one of those four parks and was the first built in the Disney World Resort. Within the Magic Kingdom there are six whimsical lands that have an abundance of rides and attractions for all ages. It’s a classic Disney park where the young can meet Disney characters, watch interactive shows, have dinner in Cinderella’s Castle or be magically transformed into a prince or princess and for the older children at heart there are thrill rides galore. This park is a magical place where dreams really do come true.
Cedar Point, Ohio
Perched on the banks of Lake Erie in Sandusky Ohio, Cedar Point amusement park has one of the best collections of rollercoasters in the world.
