Get The Look: 1960’s-Inspired Beehive

May 25, 2012

Gorgeous Claire Danes ruled the red carpet at this year’s Met Ball with a perfect 1960s-inspired beehive. Here’s how to get the look in 3 easy steps.

1. To get started with your ‘hair masterpiece,’ section off 3cm of your hair at the front of your head from ear to ear and gather the remaining hair into a high pony tail using a Scunci hair elastic.

2. Lightly tease the pony tail using the NEW Scunci Lift and Style Comb. Then, slide the Hi Styles onto your scalp behind the teased section. Spread your hair over the Hi Styles tool and pin in place to create the bee hive.

3. To contrast nicely with your statement hive, leave the front sections of your hair loose and add two delicate curls to each side part using the NEW Scunci Foam Rollers. By simply holding the ends of your hair against the foam rollers roll them up to your scalp. When you’re ready, gently remove the rollers from your hair… and voila!

Are you a fan of Claire Danes’ beehive?
