Loose curls suit long and short hair, and are a fabulous way to freshen up tired, same-old hair. Here’s how to get the look in 4 easy steps with some tips from online beauty retailer RY.com.au.
1. To begin with shampoo and condition your hair as usual, and use your towel to remove any excess water and moisture before you begin blow drying.
2. Run some curling mousse (try Tigi Curlesque Curl Strong Mousse 200ml (RY’s price: $24.86) through your hair and pull your hair into sections, clipping the bits you’re not using away from the hairdryer.
3. Using a thick ceramic round brush, start from the bottom of each section and curl your hair around the brush, until you reach the roots of your hair with the brush, then as you pull your hair and brush back down, blow dry in the same direction. The Parlux 3500 Supercompact Ceramic and Ionic (RY’s Price: $143.95) is a salon favourite.
4. Once you hair has been curled use your fingers and twist the curls around them, pulling on them a little to give them bounce.
