Eat: For simple classy food try Leaves and Fishes in Lovedale. With an obvious emphasis on seafood and fresh ingredients, this straightforward approach to good food is sure to have everybody’s tastebuds tingling. Vegetarian and gluten free menus available.
Stay: Callala Bay: Imagine sleeping just a stones-throw from the beach, or waking up to a spectacular view of Jervis Bay, or watching dolphins frolic from the front porch. Ironically the quaint little beach house in Callala Bay that can offer all this is named ‘Imagination’. Do: Day Cruise. Spring is a great time for cruising in Jervis Bay, as the whales head south for the summer. BeachDaze cruises only charter 30 people, so you don’t have to worry about large crowds- just sit back with a tea or wine and keep an eye out for a fin or tail. The boat makes two stops for kayaking, swimming and snorkelling (gear provided) so you can take advantage of all Jervis Bay has to offer. Kangaroo Valley Canoes: Take a picnic lunch and spend the day canoeing through the beautiful Kangaroo Valley for just $35 per person. Eat: The Weedy Seadragon, Huskisson. This cafe restaurant has prime location on Huskisson’s main shopping strip with pristine views of Jervis Bay. It hosts a diverse and delectable menu perfect for a relaxed and affordable meal. Try the Eggs Benedict! Available 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, and dinner Friday and Saturday.

Do: Horse-riding with Hepburn Lagoon Rides. Catering for all levels of
experience, this company matches you to your horse so you are sure for an

Eat: Chocolate Mill, Mount Franklin. This is one for those sweet tooths! Take a seat in the native garden setting and sip on the Best Hot Chocolate in Victoria (voted by the Herald Sun). There is also a viewing room and demonstrations at 11am and 2pm to watch how those little delicacies are made. Visit W3Schools!
Lake House Restaurant & Cellar, Daylesford. With several recent awards under their chef’s hats, this restaurant uses seasonal produce and hosts a diverse range of local wines. Request a table on the outdoor terrace for breakfast, lunch or dinner and soak in the landscape.

Do: Boonah Saturday Country Market. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, Springlea comes alive with the country market. Take a stroll through the stalls and pick up some local produce for a dinner feast.
