Guide To The Best Easter Treats
Easter is the time for treats! Here’s the best of what’s on offer from chocies to hampers to the best hot cross buns…
Lindt Easter Chocolate
Easter is synonymous with Lindt chocolate and their always come up with the cutest offerings, like the famous Lindt Gold Bunnies, eggs and now bugs and bees – the SheSaid office can’t get enough of them! I like to buy the whole range for my niece and nephew but always buy extra for myself too. We’re giving away five 1kg Lindt Easter bunnies valued at $99.95 each – click here to enter!
Prices start at $4.29 and available fro supermarkets and Lindt cafes.Visit lindt.com.au.
Fratelli Fresh Easter Hampers
Fratelli Fresh is my favourite food store in Sydney and I was thrilled to see they offer Easter hampers filled with the most delectable treats, like chocolate-coated strawberries, biscotti and capsicum relish (the perfect accompaniment to Easter lamb). Sure, get a hamper for a loved one, but I’m tempted to get one for myself and head out on an Easter picnic!
Imagine this: that velvety smooth flavour of Baileys…with a lingering note of nutty hazelnuts. Divine! And just in time for Easter, so you can enjoy an after-dinner nip with your family. It’s great in an adults-only milkshakes too, shaken with ice-cream and lots of ice.
700ml, RRP $30.99.
Hot Cross Buns
I have to admit, I buy hot cross buns well before Easter – I just love them toasted with lashings of butter (ok, and sometimes Nutella). Sweet Infinity make some of my favourite baked goods (their tarts are divine and let’s not even get into their pastries…). Their hot cross bun recipe has been perfected over 14 years and are in high demand, so hop to it and treat yourself to proper hot cross buns, not those icky supermarket ones.
Sweet Infinity stores at Sydney’s Strand Arcade and Woolloomooloo. Visit sweetinfinity.com.au.
