Nanna’s nana hair treatment1/2 ripe avocado

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 banana

1 egg yolk

Mash fruits and combine with olive oil and egg yolk. Gently massage onto hair and scalp and cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap. Leave on for one hour, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Shampoo as usual.

Ruby’s Heavenly Bath Salts

1 cup epsom salts (available from pharmacies)

1/2 cup bicarb soda

3 drops Jasmine essential oil

4 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil

Combine dry ingredients, mix well. Add oils one at a time and keep stirring until all clumps have broken up and you have a course powder. Add a big scoop while running your bath. Avoid the eyes and hair.

Tightening face mask

1 small peach

2-3 fresh strawberries

1 egg white

Remove stone from the peach and the leaves from the strawberries. Grab your Braun Multiquick Professional handblender’s blending attachment and puree the fruit. Set aside. Using the whisk attachment, beat the egg white until thick and frothy. Fold the fruit into the egg white and then apply to face using a brush. Leave for 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

Post-work massage blend

10 tsp grapeseed oil

6 drops of chamomile essential oil

4 drops neroli essential oil

2 drops rose essential oil

Blend ingredients well and store in a jar with a tightly fitting lid.

Berry nice feet

8 strawberries

2 tbsp of olive oil

1 tsp epsom salts

1/2 tsp poppy seeds

Mash strawberries and combine with other ingredients into a paste. Massage into your feet then rinse off and pat dry.
