Jazzy Jackman to record album

Man of many talents
After his success as Peter Allen in the Broadway production of The Boy From Oz, Aussie actor Hugh Jackman is set to take his musical career to new heights. He is currently working on a jazz based album, but recording is has proved to be a tough task. His recording partner, Richard Marx says ?I love working with him. The only problem is that between his Broadway show schedule and my schedule, we’re just having a hard time finding time to get in the studio.? The X-Men star will be performing songs such as the old Charlie Chaplin song ‘Smile,’ ‘Ole Black Magic,’ ‘Beyond The Sea’ and an updated arrangement of the Beatles,’ ‘And I Love Her’. Richard has admitted he really wants to work hard on the album. ?I need some time to really zero in on his vocals so that everyone can see just how good a singer he really is.? Looking forward to hearing what the New York audiences have been raving about!

Ben Affleck
Single life again for Affleck
Only weeks ago Ben Affleck made brave assertions that he was “rooting” for J-Lo in her new marriage to Marc Anthony and gave declarations of happiness with new flame Enza Sambataro. It now seems to have gone pear-shaped and reports are out that the star of upcoming Jersey Girl has split with the young sales executive. They met in May at a Boston Red Sox baseball game, and were together two months before the split. Affleck said his relationship with Sambataro ended because of ?excessive media attention?. Hmm? sounds like the reason he gave for splitting with J-Lo. Maybe he should just realise he?s going to get this media attention he once craved and get on with his relationships?

The new face of Maybelline – Kirsten Davies
New ventures for Sex and the City stars
As plans for the Sex and the City movie have been shelved (rumours are that Kim Cattrall refused to take part), fellow SATC stars have been working on other ways to earn their bucks. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kirstin Davis have chosen new lucrative endorsements to keep them comfortable ? both have signed on as spokesmodels for established brands. Parker is promoting Gap, and Davis will be working with Maybelline. Sarah has gushed that the Gap is “terrifically creative, fun, inspired … timeless, easy, colorful, classic, and affordable,” whil Kristin promoted Maybelline as “an icon in the beauty industry. Their wonderful products continue to be favorites of mine.”
