Kanye West Hospitalized Hours After Canceling His Tour

November 22, 2016

The Kanye saga keeps getting weirder and weirder…

Kanye West has reportedly been hospitalized after police responded to a “welfare call” around 1:20p.m., when paramedics at the scene made the decision to take West to the hospital “for his own health and safety”.

TMZ reported West was at his trainer, Harley Pasternak’s, house at the time of the call, and was “acting erratically”. The 39 year-old was reportedly suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation when it was decided a call to the police would have to be made.

It has been confirmed no criminal activity was involved, and West was taken to hospital in a medically stable condition for further assessment.

West has a history of acting erratically, though has been under increased stress since his wife's attack in Paris.

The incident follows a bizarre week for the rapper, who interrupted his own concerts with crazy rants about Beyonce, Jay-Z and Donald Trump before canceling the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour. He also canceled his Sunday concert in Los Angeles – which was a makeup show for a previously canceled performance – with no explanation.

Fans have taken to social media to show their support for West and raise mental health awareness.

After canceling, the controversial star went on to inexplicably upload 99 uncaptioned photos of fashion items to his Instagram account.

His wife, Kim Kardashian-West, was supposed to be making her first public appearance since she was attacked and burgled in Paris in October in New York City but did not appear, with sources alleging she’s currently flying back to Los Angeles to be with her husband.

West’s representatives have yet to confirm or comment on the rapper’s hospitalization.
