Katie’s ex speaks out

Katie Holmes? former fianc?e Chris Klein has finally spoken out about his doomed relationship with the ex Dawson?s Creek star and her pregnancy with Tom Cruise. He reveals that his relationship with Katie was very different to the way her and Tom conduct their courtship. “I think it was something we appreciated, it was something we kept special for each other.” The former American Pie star is on the promotional trail for his new film Just Friends and doesn?t seem too bitter about the ending of his relationship with Katie. Their break-up was amicable, he explains, saying they simply grew apart. “As people grow up their tastes change and I know that growing up and becoming adults the direction her and I wanted to go in changed a little bit. When it was time to split it was time to split and when you know you know.”

As for the wedding between the pair, no decisions have been made. Tom reveals: “We don’t have a date yet,” Tom revealed, “[But we have] big, big plans. We talk about it. I really didn’t know that there were so many wedding magazines. I said, ‘Are you kidding me? There are things for the flowers, the cake, the dresses’ … The thing that I love about Kate is that she’s an artist, so she actually loves ribbons and she makes cards and creates art. She loves flowers, and she’ll do her own floral arrangements. So it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s going to be a celebration.” Um haven?t you been married a couple of times before, Tom? Surely there were flowers, cakes and dresses the last two times you tied the knot?!

Harry Potter Premiere
Harry Potter fans rejoice: the latest instalment in the film series has premiered in the UK. Hundreds of Potter fans were waiting for a glimpse of the famous faces including Madonna with daughter Lourdes, actress Kate Beckinsale with daughter Lily Sheen and supermodel Claudia Schiffer. Of course, the real stars were the young actors featured in the film ? 16-year-old Daniel Radcliffe, who plays schoolboy wizard Harry, 17-year-old Rupert Grint, who wore a velvet jacket and who plays Ron Weasley in the film and finally, Hermione Granger actress Emma Watson who wore a vintage dress that once belonged to a 1920s screen goddess – although she wouldn’t reveal who. The film will open in Australian on December 1st, which is 2 weeks later than the UK release of 18th November. The reason for this delay is to time the film close to the beginning of school holidays.
